The course of true love never did run smooth, and it promises to veer right off the road and get lost in the woods in the Fall 2008 NHS Theater production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Shakespeare concocts spells, transformations, mismatched lovers, bumbling tradesmen-turned-actors, charmed fairies, and a devilish Puck to create an enchanting magical brew. Is it all a dream?
This year’s collaboration between NHS students and the talented artists of the Hampshire Shakespeare Company will appear (magically) in the Fayette Congdon Auditorium November 13, 14 and 15 at 7:30 pm, with a 2:00 pm matinee on Sunday, November 16.
HSC veteran Barry Magnani’s staging promises to charm and delight. Barry directed last year’s comic masterpiece The Imaginary Invalid, and is excited to return with more theatrical wizardry – we hope you’ll join us to share Barry’s Dream!
